Managing Director & Senior Pilates Instructor
Michel’s enduring passion is to uplift the lives of people around him, and constantly find ways to improve himself and others. He’s been mastering Pilates for more than 20 years now–training students to achieve the full potential of the human body.
Michel’s journey into the world of Pilates started soon after college when, by chance, he was spotted by an instructor, who was impressed by his “natural gift for movement and execution.”
In 2001, he went to his first Pilates workshop in Hong Kong conducted by Dawnna Wayburne, a respected industry proponent. The next year, he traveled to Singapore to train under the late great Ron Fletcher, whose flexibility was phenomenal for a man in his 80s.
Michel is a licensed Physical Therapist, a seasoned cyclist, an avid wall climber, a classical guitar teacher, a martial arts enthusiast, and an impassioned carpenter. He teaches Pilates, Calisthenics, and Handstands–injecting his values of patience, discipline, and hard work into every class.
